On this Eve of Move-Out Day

So I clearly survived Irene. She was a beast though. Above was my survival kit!

My life's been pretty boring since my visit to Virginia. Lots of packing and cleaning. Finally my Internet shut off today, forcing me to really get down to business on the packing part.
It's the Eve of move-out day and Boston is bumpin' to the extreme, it's really something you need to experience first hand to understand. The streets are small, everyone and their mom are moving and there is absolutely no parking anywhere. People have already started moving out to get a head start.
Craziness!
Today I helped some friends take Shannon's bed out of the apartment and afterward we went out for some chicken and waffle fries. I personally don't understand the mix but a lot of people seem to enjoy it.

The next blog I write will be from my new apartment on Thursday!!! Can't wait to get settled.

Enjoy the last couple weeks of summer!

My Weekend in A Minute

Mal made beef sandwiches.

Mal made milkshakes.

Chris got the bro-stache app.

We did a puzzle.

Lots of napping, eating and hanging out this weekend. Back to Boston!

The Internet Cures Boredom

So far It's been a lazy vacation weekend and it's not even Sunday yet. Lots of relaxation, pajamas till 3 and constant snacking.

I baked some cinnamon bread Thursday and Saturday morning made an egg sunny side up for the first time!

Baby Banana

It's been a week, finals are over, packing has started and potassium levels are good! "It's a banana baby"

This weekend was a marathon of going away party after going away party, so congratulations to all my friends who graduated! It should also be known that I said goodbye to my close friend and roommate of two years, Shannon. We had a good run buddy.

This week I've got more tricks up my sleeve that I'm sure you're all eager to read about in my next post. So stay tuned!

It's Not The End

Oh Hello Blog!

I’m back to my usual shenanigans again!

I write this to you in the midst of finals week. While some may question this, myself included, I’ve come to the conclusion that in order to maintain mental health and stability you need to take breaks every once in a while. Which is exactly what I’m doing! I had one final today and five more to go, then I’m FREEEEEE…. for a month.

I’ve got to say this has been one stressful summer, filled with tears and fears no doubt, but I write to you in good spirits, as it seems almost everything has been all sorted out. Cross your fingers and say a prayer, thank ya Jesus!

After this week is over I’ll be packing up my humble abode of an apartment that I’ve lived in for 2 years and downsize to a cute little place down the block for my last 4 months of school, furnished with…Wait for it… a new roommate! If I have any advice for any munchkins entering college it’s this, DOWNSIZE! Continually downsize! A suitcase may look pretty big and never-ending, but don’t let it fool you, it’s no match next to Mary Poppins!

ANYWAY, you get the picture, I’ll be packing, shipping, donating, etc. BUT I will also be able to finally do some summer reading and possible bike riding around the city, which excites me more than a cat on catnip!

So here are some highlights of my non-existent summer vacation.

I hosted a Murder Mystery Party in JuneHarry Potter 7.2 Premier in July with some friends
Went to Hershey Park PA for a weekend with some friends to visit Ryan (in the blue)
Made more big top cupcakes!
Spent some time with the roommate!
